Service description

TalkSeeds provides an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app designed for nonverbal and minimally verbal children. The service includes a mobile app for child communication and parent management, web dashboards for support professionals (teachers, therapists, and SLPs), and supporting infrastructure.

No medical claims

TalkSeeds is a communication tool, not a medical device. We do not make diagnostic, therapeutic, or medical outcome claims. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for clinical decisions regarding your child.

Account responsibility

Parents and caregivers are responsible for managing their child's communication board and approving any changes suggested by the system. TalkSeeds does not automatically modify a child's communication board.

Professional access

Professional access (teachers, therapists, and SLPs) is granted by parent invitation only and is strictly read-only. Professionals may add notes and suggest vocabulary changes, but cannot directly modify a child's board or approve AI suggestions.

Subscriptions and billing

The core communication app is free forever on the tablet. The Family plan ($12.99/month or $99/year) adds AI insights, AI suggestions, session notes, and professional invites. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your communication board and data remain on the device after cancellation.

Data ownership

You own your data. TalkSeeds processes your data to provide the service. You can request a full data export or deletion at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Availability

The child-facing communication interface works offline and does not depend on server availability. Parent and professional features require an internet connection. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
